Press Release Body = After 8 months of hard work and planning miniaddicts.co.uk are finally on the way to becoming one of the most noticable mini clubs in the North West of England. Having toiled through long nights and plenty of hard work the miniaddicts.co.uk team are proud to be putting themselves on the mini-ing map. With a brand new look website and thriving forum for any mini owner they are the must visit club of the moment. Fresh from stealing the show at the Chester Lord Mayor\'s Parade they made their club debut to a major mini show by staging something a little bit different at \'Mini in the Park 2006\' the biggest show in the mini calendar. Mini in the Park 2006 \"Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! \" Our theme for our first major club stand may have seemed a little abstract (Bringing Christmas to Cornbury Park in the middle of August!) But after solid thunderstorms and a sudden drop in temperature, clearly signaled the end of the British summer! Undeterred the Miniaddicts camped in a muddy field and then created a north pole grotto! After a very fun convoy down from Chester, including a truckers breakfast, sightseeing at the V Festival (as the cops pulled people heading there) a drive through Jeremy Clarkson\'s Village, the odd wrong turn and some pretty irate BMW, Audi and Mercedes driver; we made it to Cornbury park all together and in one piece!
But no sooner had the tents and the club Gazebo been erected and the first beers cracked open, the heavens opened and we had torrential rain for the whole evening of camping! Still, that didn\'t stop the Miniaddicts team taking part in the events laid on for us! We undertook the bungee run, sumo wrestling and Gladiator duel before the weather and alcohol got the better of us and we had to sleep. Before we did we were visited by one of our forum members from South Wales, she was \'zapped\' while on a hen night in Chester and came to visit us! Good to meet ya Babybek! Sunday saw Charlie_Mini break down constantly and end up being towed into the show ground! Once the stand was set up Kaye and Deano (once again! :)) got the refreshments (tea and bacon butties) on and we sat back and attracted plenty of attention! Most of it wad along the lines of \'Why are they dressed as elves in August!??\' Either way we certainly got ourselves noticed! Roll on next year! Miniaddicts can only get better from here on in! What will our theme be next year? Who knows! Its going to be worth it though!
